World Championship Returns to the Czech Republic
From 17 to 19 July 2026, the World Hunter Field Target Championships will bring competitors, national teams and visitors from around the world to Vacenovice, Czech Republic, for one of the most important events in international air rifle shooting.
Recognised as the highest level of HFT competition, the championship has become an annual gathering for shooters, manufacturers and enthusiasts who share a passion for precision shooting and outdoor competition.
As one of the sponsors, FPG Arms will be present throughout the championship, giving visitors the opportunity to discover the FG10 Tactical PCP air rifle and meet the team behind its development.
What Makes Hunter Field Target Unique
Hunter Field Target is very different from traditional target shooting.
Competitors move through natural woodland courses and engage metal knockdown targets positioned at unknown distances between 7 and 42 metres. Rangefinders and electronic distance measuring devices are not permitted, leaving competitors to rely on experience, observation and a detailed understanding of their equipment.
Changing light, unpredictable wind and varied shooting positions make every lane different. A single mistake can decide the final standings.
This unique combination of marksmanship, fieldcraft and decision making has made Hunter Field Target one of the fastest growing precision air rifle disciplines in Europe.
The Championship Experience
For competitors, WHFTC represents the highest level of international competition.
Visitors also have the opportunity to experience the atmosphere of a World Championship while discovering the latest developments in air rifles and shooting equipment.
Alongside the competition, the championship features exhibition areas where manufacturers, distributors and industry partners present new products, exchange ideas and meet the people who use their equipment every day.
It is one of the few occasions each year where the shooting industry and the Hunter Field Target community come together in one place.

The World Hunter Field Target Championships 2026 will take place over three days, combining official championship activities with opportunities for competitors and visitors to meet throughout the event.

The exhibition area, including the FPG Arms stand, will be open throughout the championship weekend.
During all three days, visitors will have the opportunity to explore the exhibition area, meet manufacturers and discover the latest developments in air rifles, optics and shooting accessories.
Vacenovice
Located in the South Moravian countryside, Vacenovice combines beautiful woodland surroundings with excellent accessibility, making it an ideal venue for a World Hunter Field Target Championship.
The venue offers excellent facilities for competitors, exhibitors and visitors throughout the championship weekend.
An International Event
More than 200 competitors representing dozens of nations are expected to travel to Vacenovice for WHFTC 2026.
With dozens of participating nations, the championship is one of the largest annual gatherings of the international Hunter Field Target community and an important meeting point for everyone involved in the sport.

Built in the Czech Republic
The FG10 Tactical has been designed, engineered and manufactured entirely in the Czech Republic. Every major aluminium component is CNC machined from aircraft grade 7075 aluminium before receiving a premium hard anodized finish.
From design and machining to assembly and final inspection, every stage of production is carried out under the direct supervision of the FPG Arms team.
The result is a precision PCP rifle engineered for durability, repeatable accuracy and long term reliability.
