Behind every precision airgun stands not only engineering, but also experience, vision, and a genuine passion for shooting. The story of FPG Arms is built on all three.
Company Background
Before founding FPG Arms, Petr Fritz established the engineering company KOVO FRITZ s.r.o., which has been operating since 2006 and specializes in the production of high-precision machined components. The company works with modern CNC technology and operates under an integrated management system certified according to:
ISO 9001:2015 (Quality Management)
ISO 14001:2015 (Environmental Management)
ISO 45001:2018 (Occupational Health and Safety)
ISO 37001:2016 (Anti-Bribery Management)
In addition, the company holds a Social Responsibility Certificate issued by LL-C.
These certifications reflect a strong focus on quality, repeatability, environmental responsibility, workplace safety, ethical business practices, and strict process control.
For many years, KOVO FRITZ s.r.o. has supplied precision parts for demanding industrial and firearm-related applications, where high accuracy, reliability, and short delivery times are essential. This long-term involvement in manufacturing components for the firearms industry provided deep insight into materials, tolerances, surface treatments, and the overall requirements placed on critical weapon parts.
Through its sister company, Frelox s.r.o., the group also provides advanced surface treatment technologies for firearm components, further strengthening in-house capabilities in durability, corrosion resistance, and functional coatings.
The Vision of the Founder
As a passionate and experienced shooter, Petr Fritz wanted to go beyond supplying components and take full control over the entire development process of a complete airgun platform. The goal was to create a rifle where design, engineering, manufacturing, surface treatment, and quality control are all handled under one roof, allowing every detail to be optimized without compromise.
This vision led to the creation of FPG Arms, a brand built on the combination of precision engineering, practical shooting experience, and a clear focus on functionality and long-term reliability.
From Engineering to Airgun Development
The FG10 Tactical project was approached as a complete system from the very beginning. Instead of assembling off-the-shelf parts, the platform was developed with an emphasis on structural rigidity, precise alignment, consistent air regulation, and a clean, fully integrated design.
The same standards applied to the production of certified industrial and firearm components were transferred directly into the development of the airgun platform. This approach ensures not only high performance, but also repeatable quality, controlled manufacturing processes, and long-term stability.
The Team
The FPG arms development team consists of engineers and technicians who are also active and experienced shooters. This combination of technical expertise and real-world shooting practice allows every design decision to be evaluated both from an engineering perspective and from the user’s point of view.
Feedback from testing, training, and practical use is continuously incorporated into the development process, ensuring that the final product meets the expectations of demanding shooters in terms of ergonomics, handling, consistency, and reliability.
Looking Ahead
With the FG10 Tactical as its first platform, FPG Arms establishes the foundation for future development. The same philosophy of precision manufacturing, certified quality systems, advanced surface technologies, and purpose-driven design will guide all upcoming projects, as the brand continues to expand its product range and refine its technologies.
The story of FPG Arms is only beginning, built on engineering excellence, certified processes, real shooting experience, and a true passion for precision.
